Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist licensure (OTR/L) in Michigan.
• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings, is highly valued.
• Strong skills in assessment, individualized education program (IEP) development, and implementation.
• Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct assessments to determine students unique needs related to fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support each student's educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
• Document progress and maintain compliance with all required recordkeeping and reporting standards.
• Provide consultation and training for staff to facilitate carryover of therapy strategies in the classroom environment.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth and participation.
