This full-time, contract position offers the chance to collaborate in a supportive environment near Murrieta, CA, utilizing a wide range of occupational therapy skills.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in both traditional school-based OT practices as well as home health and teletherapy, and should feel comfortable guiding and mentoring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) within the school. Your work will be essential in empowering students to achieve their fullest potential and thrive in both educational and real-world settings.

What youll need:

• Active, valid OT license in California
• Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy settings
• Proficiency in home health and teletherapy OT services
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and support staff
• Previous experience overseeing or partnering with COTAs in a school context strongly preferred
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills with children, families, and faculty

Key responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and tailor intervention plans that support individual educational goals
• Deliver OT services in person, virtually, and through home health as needed
• Document progress and maintain detailed records consistent with IEPs and state regulations
• Consult with teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom environments
• Supervise, guide, and support COTA staff to ensure the highest standard of care
