Make an impact in students' lives as an Occupational Therapist supporting school-aged children and early intervention programs. This contract opportunity offers flexible options near Morton, PA, with a choice between a full-time assignment or a three-day schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current PA state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience delivering OT services within school settings or early childhood environments
- Familiarity with IEP processes and effective intervention strategies for school-aged and early intervention populations
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Capability to adapt OT services to students with emotional support needs or those requiring developmental support in the community
- Reliable transportation to commute between sites as needed
Your Role:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students in early intervention and school age programs
- For the full-time position: Provide OT across community settings, supporting young childrens development and functional skills
- For the part-time position: Work three days per week in an emotional support setting, fostering skill growth and independence for students at the Aston Ed Center
- Evaluate students and design individualized intervention plans to enhance access and participation in academic and daily life activities
- Document service delivery, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and state policies
- Consult with educators and families to integrate therapeutic strategies across environments
