Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapy license appropriate for school-based positions
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting assessments
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Assess and document students needs and progress, modifying interventions as necessary
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success and participation in school activities
  • Develop sensory and motor skills programs tailored to diverse student populations
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with the multidisciplinary team
