What were looking for:

• Active California Occupational Therapy license (CA OT License)
• Experience working as an OT in a school setting preferred
• Understanding of state and district-specific requirements or certifications as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to diverse student needs across different grades

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive care and support for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for accommodations and interventions
• Manage a caseload that will be finalized after the interview process, ensuring personalized attention to each student
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines
