Step into a pivotal role supporting students throughout the academic year by delivering dedicated occupational therapy services across multiple school sites. Shape brighter futures for TK12th grade students, helping them overcome challenges and thrive in their daily school activities. As the sole OT on this contract, you will enjoy the opportunity to work hands-on, making meaningful contributions to a diverse group of approximately 55 students.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is required
- Proven experience leading and participating in IEP meetings for students with varied needs
- Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is a plus
- Comfortable navigating digital platforms and maintaining electronic documentation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting highly desirable
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services based on IEP goals, ensuring students have access and support across educational settings
- Travel between multiple school sites to serve the full caseload
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and case insights to help shape student plans
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including IEP paperwork, assessments, and service logs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student progress and communicate outcomes
