Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school settings
- Proficiency in administering the BOT 3 and Peabody assessments to students aged 3-22 with mild to severe, multiple disabilities
- Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment data, address parent concerns, and make well-supported service recommendations
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites each week (itinerant role, travel mileage not reimbursed)
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of independently managing and adjusting caseloads as district needs evolve
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and deliver targeted OT services for a broad spectrum of student disabilities
- Effectively communicate with families and educational staff, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and supported
- Develop and document individualized intervention plans aligned with assessment data and IEP goals
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative services as identified by team recommendations and district requirements
- Maintain caseloads that fluctuate based on ongoing assessments and consultationsno rigid limits, offering opportunities for meaningful impact across multiple campuses
- Organize travel and daily schedules to meet the priorities of various sites and maximize service availability
