Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing outstanding occupational therapy services on a flexible, contract basis. This opportunity is perfect for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) seeking a one-day-per-week commitment. You'll support students' success through direct therapy services in a school setting, with the potential for expansion as further details become available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid OT or COTA licensure in California
  • Previous experience in school-based, home health, or teletherapy settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessing and treating pediatric clients with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and team members
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for in-person and/or remote delivery as needed
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible caseload

What Youll Do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services for students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Record and maintain accurate therapy documentation and reports
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to promote student participation and independence
  • Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive devices
