Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license for the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of IEP documentation and participation in team meetings
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet a range of student needs
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address students motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Provide direct occupational therapy sessions to students in individual and group settings
- Document progress and collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Offer recommendations to classroom staff for accommodations and strategies to enhance student success
