Job Description

An onsite Occupational Therapist position is available in Monticello, NY, serving school-aged students from kindergarten through age 22. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, delivering therapeutic services within a school setting. The ideal candidate will hold a valid New York State Occupational Therapist license and demonstrate expertise in supporting students with diverse needs in educational environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students ages K-22
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and inclusion
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous program improvement

Qualifications:

  • Valid NY State OT license required
  • Experience working with school-aged children in occupational therapy roles preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
  • Ability to create engaging, student-centered therapeutic activities
  • Knowledge of educational laws and IDEA regulations is a plus
