Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students across two school sites for the 2026/2027 academic year. This engaging role involves providing essential OT services in a collaborative, school-based setting with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois required
  • Experience delivering OT services within a school environment preferred
  • Strong ability to adapt therapy approaches to various student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working alongside fellow educators, students, and families
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students aged PreK12, as assigned
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Travel between two designated school sites as part of the weekly schedule
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
