Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience within a school-based environment preferred
• Capability to work with elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Collaborative approach with educators, school staff, and families
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate therapy into classroom routines
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on functional outcomes
• Offer training, support, and guidance to school staff as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student growth and independence
