Essential Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota occupational therapist license (required)
• Previous experience working in school-based settings is preferred
• Familiarity with evaluating, planning, and providing interventions for students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt strategies to various learning styles and needs

Expected Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations for students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to each students unique goals
• Collaborate with educational teams to support academic access and participation
• Document progress and maintain accurate records aligned with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommendations
• Educate and train teachers and families on strategies to help students integrate therapeutic techniques throughout the school day
