Job Description

Make an impact in the daily lives of students by bringing your Occupational Therapy expertise to a contract opportunity close to Minneapolis, MN. This role involves working in a single building with a focused caseload (20-40 students, with groups of 4), providing direct support in an engaging educational environment. Multiple positions are available, including four full-time long-term contracts and two openings for long-term substitutes to cover the first couple of months (exact dates to be determined).

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to adapt therapy interventions to the needs of students ages K-12
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
  • Flexible and organized when working with varying caseloads
  • Commitment to supporting students functional performance and educational success

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions in collaboration with special education teams
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment as needed
  • Work within one assigned education center building, minimizing travel between sites
  • Consult regularly with teachers and staff to support classroom adaptations and student success
  • Complete required documentation and participation in IEP meetings
