This full-time position offers 37.5 hours a week, with the flexibility to start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year. Youll work alongside dedicated educational teams in the Minneapolis area, helping students achieve their fullest potential in a dynamic school environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of direct and indirect therapy services in educational contexts
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of students, ensuring service delivery is tailored to individual needs
- Provide both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to help students access and engage with the curriculum
- Track progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Communicate effectively with families and educators to maximize student outcomes
