Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to support students growth and success in an engaging contract position based in California! This opportunity offers a dynamic, part-time schedulefour days per weekserving both the Mill Valley and San Rafael areas throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 17th to June 11th.
As an Occupational Therapist in these educational settings, youll help students reach their developmental and academic goals, collaborating with school teams and families to make a meaningful difference each day. The position involves splitting time between two welcoming districts, providing exposure to a diverse range of students and enriching your professional experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous school-based OT experience, particularly with pediatric populations, strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively across multiple sites within the school week
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
