Step into an impactful role supporting student success as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 26-27 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite across 2-3 school sites near Midlothian, VA, where youll make a daily difference in students educational journeys. With a manageable 35-hour workweek, youll collaborate with dedicated school teams and engage with diverse grade levels, helping students reach important developmental milestones.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia OT license required
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Understanding of school-age child development and educational environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to efficiently manage a caseload across multiple locations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Programs
- Provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for students across assigned grade levels
- Travel between 2-3 nearby schools as part of your weekly routine
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to support holistic student development
- Share recommendations and educational strategies with teachers and parents to facilitate classroom success
