This role begins on August 25, 2026, and concludes on November 13, 2026, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek. Qualifications:
- Active Delaware license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students fine motor, sensory-processing, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students educational goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Offer guidance and resources for classroom staff to facilitate student participation and independence
- Adapt interventions and strategies in response to student progress
