Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Delaware
• Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Proficiency in conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
• Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students according to prescribed IEP goals and district guidelines
• Evaluate student needs, complete assessments, and document progress regularly
• Develop and implement effective therapy interventions tailored to each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise during multidisciplinary discussions
• Provide consultation and in-service training for teachers and families to support skill development in the classroom and at home
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements
