Job Description

Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in making a positive impact in a school setting for the 20262027 academic year! This is a contract, onsite role supporting students development and learning in a vibrant educational environment. The caseload will be assigned at the start of the assignment, providing opportunities to work closely with students in a collaborative setting.

Preferred candidates will have school-based Occupational Therapy experience and a passion for working with pediatric or elementary student populations. An active and valid Delaware OT license is required at the time of application. Your expertise will help students succeed, develop essential life skills, and thrive academically.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Delaware Occupational Therapist license (mandatory)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desired
  • Ability and willingness to work fully onsite, 37.5 hours per week
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation for onsite attendance
  • Confidence managing caseloads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct Occupational Therapy services in accordance with students IEPs
  • Assess and evaluate students to determine OT needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary discussions as required
