Exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a specialized role near Miami Beach, FL. In this onsite position, youll work closely with students from kindergarten through 10th grade, providing direct intervention and expertise within a supportive school environment. With a manageable caseload and just two hours per week, this role allows the perfect balance to make a meaningful difference while maintaining flexibility.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Current Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Demonstrated experience or interest in school-based, home health, or pediatric OT preferred
- Strong communication skills and reliability in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of K-10th grade students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted interventions on-site
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to support student goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with applicable guidelines
- Offer expertise and educational resources to staff and families as needed
