Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Occupational Therapist. Based in the Andover, MA area, you'll work with a dynamic range of learners from PreK to high school in a role that makes a lasting impact. This position runs from July 6, 2026, through August 13, 2026, and features a convenient Monday to Thursday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.offering a friendly work-life balance at 22 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license (MA OT License required)
- Background or interest in working with PreK students on social-emotional and behavioral goals, as well as basic experience with elementary-age students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Experience or strong willingness to support high school students with ASD
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress and participation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions to students with diverse needs, emphasizing self-regulation, sensory integration, and adaptive skills
- Assess student functioning and create individualized treatment plans for PreK, elementary, and high school populations, with a focus on ASD support
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic activities within the school day
- Document student progress and communicate findings to educational teams and families
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines for service delivery and documentation
