Make a meaningful impact by providing vital occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time, in person, with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 studentsprimarily elementary-agednear Mesquite, NM.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for supporting student success, an understanding of school-based occupational therapy, and a flexible approach to working with students of varying ages and needs.

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with therapy for elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in person, supporting the functional and academic development of approximately 30 students
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies targeting school participation, self-regulation, and fine motor development
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom
• Collaborate with families to promote carryover of skills at home
• Document progress, conduct evaluations, and participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
