Key Qualifications:

• Current and active NM OT licensure (NMRLD) and NMPED certification required by your start date (the NMPED credential is a straightforward process if started promptly)
• Flexible and able to travel between multiple school campuses
• Willing to supervise and support COTAs
• Experience with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Open to candidates based in southern New Mexico or the El Paso, TX area

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services to students across a variety of age groups and campuses
• Conduct evaluations, treatments, and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Mentor and supervise COTAs per state guidelines and district requirements
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
