Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Arizona
• Experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and support staff
• Ability to assess and adapt interventions to a diverse student population
• Efficient time management and organization when juggling caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and reassessments to determine students unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom materials and strategies
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with parents and educational teams
• Utilize creative approaches to help students enhance fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and organizational skills
