Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in PreK8th grade educational settings. This contract position is available for the upcoming 26/27 school year and offers a stable, full-time schedule near Mesa, AZ. If you're passionate about empowering young learners to achieve their best, this role provides the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and educational staff to support student development and success.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Arizona
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Strong background or training in school-based OT practice
- Experience working with PreK8th grade students preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to students in grades PreK8, focusing on improving functional independence and academic participation
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust interventions as necessary to meet student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to coordinate student care and integrate therapy into educational programs
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with documentation to ensure compliance with school and state requirements
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
