Step into a meaningful role supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade and make a real difference working with a dynamic school-based team. This contract opportunity is located on-site near Mesa, AZ, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the school year (August 6, 2026May 27, 2027). Youll work across multiple campuses providing skilled occupational therapy services to a diverse student caseload.
Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy licensure
- IVP fingerprint clearance card (required for credentialing)
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but strong clinical OTs seeking school experience are encouraged to apply
- Interest in working with students across early childhood through high school
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions for students ages Pre-K through 12th grade, addressing individual educational needs
- Conduct assessments, develop and update IEP goals, and maintain timely documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Adjust therapeutic plans as needed to promote growth and independence for each student
- Travel to assigned schools (number of schools assigned will be determined)
