Job Description
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to students impacted by Autism within the school setting. This onsite role requires collaboration with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance students functional abilities and academic success.
Location: Mesa, AZ
Type: Contract (Onsite)
Hours: 37.5 per week
School Year: 26/27
Caseload: Students with Autism
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students diagnosed with Autism
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student participation and success
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide direct therapy services in the school environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
