Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity near Meriden, KS, supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in an engaging school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role focuses primarily on elementary-level students, with a caseload that varies, allowing you to make meaningful connections and positively influence young learners development.
Youll play a key part in a collaborative education environment from early August through late May, providing essential occupational therapy services and contributing to Medicaid billing processes. Your expertise will help students achieve their best and thrive in their educational journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for practice in Kansas
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong ability to adapt strategies to elementary grade levels
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing in an educational context is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Role Highlights:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and individualized interventions for students mostly at the elementary level
- Develop, implement, and monitor student IEP goals in collaboration with other school professionals
