Job Description

This full-time position provides the chance to make a lasting difference among children with varying needs, from early intervention to K-12 students.

Two openings are availablean 11-month early intervention position and a K-12 positioneach offering you meaningful, hands-on experience within a collaborative school environment. Your expertise will help young learners build the functional skills necessary for success in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Maryland Occupational Therapy License
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational teams and families
  • Flexibility, creativity, and commitment to student-focused care

Role Highlights:

  • Offer direct therapy to students based on individual education plans (IEPs) or intervention programs
  • Assess and document students needs, progress, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies and provide recommendations
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Organize and manage a caseloadeither early intervention (11 months) or K-12tailored to your skills and interests
  • Provide therapy using evidence-based techniques, adapting interventions to support student participation and independence
