Job Description

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active North Carolina license as an Occupational Therapist required
  • Experience providing OT services in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, particularly with elementary-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite occupational therapy interventions to elementary-aged students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set measurable goals based on each students unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support the integration of therapy into students daily routines
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to support students educational goals
  • Utilize a variety of intervention strategies, incorporating evidence-based practices and creative solutions
