What Were Looking For:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
• Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Skilled in conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions for K-12 students
• Proficient communication and organization abilities to manage caseload requirements
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Able to document progress and comply with IEP goals and standards

What You'll Be Doing:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in both group and individual settings, addressing their unique needs
• Assess, plan, and implement interventions supporting students participation and success in the academic environment
• Develop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with teachers, school staff, and parents
• Monitor and document students progress, adjusting plans as needed for optimal outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and workshops as a valued member of the support team
• Advocate for students well-being and access to educational opportunities

As a full-time W2 contracted Occupational Therapist working 40 hours per week, you'll have the chance to build relationships and provide consistent, long-term support to children and staff alike.
