Qualifications:

• Current and valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Comfortable working with elementary, middle, and high school-aged students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic practices to suit varying student needs
• Committed to fostering positive student development and independence

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans targeting student goals
• Provide occupational therapy services to students of various grade levels in accordance with IEPs and educational needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success in the classroom environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, goals, progress notes, and communication
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional training opportunities
• Serve as a resource on occupational therapy best practices for school staff
• Help create adaptive strategies and modifications to enhance learning opportunities
