Take your occupational therapy career to the next level in a supportive school environment, working directly with PreK8th grade students. This contract opportunity is based in a collaborative setting, where youll have the chance to work alongside a Physical Therapist and Adaptive Physical Education specialist, with additional assistance from a COTA once a week. Your workspace is shared, fostering connection and teamwork in delivering impactful services to students.

This full-time role follows the academic calendar, beginning in August and concluding in May. Youll provide direct therapy services onsite, developing individualized plans, collaborating with other professionals, and helping students achieve their educational and developmental goals within a vibrant, diverse learning community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings (PreK8 preferred)
• Ability to design and implement individualized and group therapy plans
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with educators and families
• Adaptable, organized, and motivated to support students diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to PreK8 students onsite
• Collaborate closely with PT, APE, and COTA for holistic student care
• Assess students, create individualized therapy interventions, and monitor progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide thorough documentation
• Engage with teachers and families to maximize student success in the classroom and beyond
