Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and familiarity with IEP processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt to various caseloads and work both independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students IEPs
  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to help students improve fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support classroom adaptations and inclusive learning
  • Maintain accurate documentation, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Educate and coach staff and families on strategies to support student growth across settings
