Job Description

This contract opportunity offers the chance to cover a maternity leave, supporting students across four high schools and working closely with staff and families. Ideal experience and qualifications:

  • Active and valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license (required for consideration; applications without this license cannot be processed)
  • Previous experience providing OT services in school-based settings, especially at the high school level, is preferred
  • Confidence in managing a diverse caseload and collaborating with multiple teams
  • Ability to adapt plans and interventions for varied developmental needs
  • Strong communication skills and professional manner when working with students, educators, and families
  • Willingness and flexibility to provide coverage for a maternity leave from approximately early September through early February

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for high school students
  • Consult and partner with classroom teachers and other educational staff
  • Maintain documentation and compliance according to regulatory standards
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student progress
  • Adapt to the unique needs and goals of each school on the caseload
