Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine strengths and areas for improvement in motor and adaptive skills.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and special education staff.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a diverse student population.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements.
• Educate school staff and caregivers on techniques and strategies to support students within the classroom.

Preferred Background:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for North Dakota (or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting).
• Previous experience working as an OT within a school environment or with pediatric populations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education documentation is highly valued.
• Ability to adapt techniques to support a variety of student needs and learning styles.
