Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students from preschool through transition age across a vibrant school district near Manchester, CT. A flexible contract opportunity awaits a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services on a part-time basis in the upcoming academic year, from August 2026 through June 2027.

Bring your expertise to a setting where youll work 2-3 days per weekspecifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional weekdayto deliver vital OT interventions that help students achieve success in their school environment. Youll have the chance to collaborate with educators and support staff serving children of all ages, from preschoolers to young adults in transition programs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with certification to work in schools
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based setting
  • Strong ability to adapt services to varied age groups and student needs
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
  • Work with teachers, families, and specialists to support student development across environments
  • Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with IEP goals and services
  • Travel between school buildings within the district as assigned
