Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Familiarity with caseload-based service delivery
- Comfortable working with PreK8th grade students
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a moderate caseload
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 2022 students, encompassing assessments, interventions, and progress evaluations
- Participate in IEP development, implementation, and review meetings as requested
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district policy and state regulations
- Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and families to support student growth
- Utilize provided training on the IEP system to ensure compliance and quality service
- Attend virtual team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Provide indirect and direct therapy hours as required, with billable sick leave
