Key Skills and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for the state
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric environments preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and relevant documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable approach to meeting the diverse needs of students
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and balance priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to create student-centered intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Contribute insights to multidisciplinary IEP meetings, supporting holistic educational planning
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere to encourage student engagement and participation
