Job Description

Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to support students across two school assignments this summer, making a positive impact in educational settings near Magalia, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations at both Mesa Vista and Gridley locations, ensuring vital therapy services are delivered during the summer session.

Assignments include:

  • Gridley: Starting June 8th
  • BCOE: Starting June 11th
  • Contract duration runs from June 8, 2026, to July 2, 2026
  • Anticipated schedule is approximately three days per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license for the state of California
  • Experience providing OT services to school-aged children, ideally in elementary and middle school environments
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing, and executing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads across multiple sites
  • Passion for helping students achieve developmental and academic goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services according to students' IEPs and goals
  • Complete assessments and documentation to track progress and adapt interventions as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers and educational staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
  • Provide guidance and support to students and their families regarding OT interventions
  • Maintain timely and compliant records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
