Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Ability to work onsite during school hours
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Capacity for independent work as well as effective teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Conduct individualized assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the educational setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Attend relevant meetings and contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams
