As the Occupational Therapist for this role, youll play a vital part in promoting students independence, access to learning, and overall well-being within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License
• Prior experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
• Prepared to work with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering positive relationships and promoting students individual growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of needs
• Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive classroom environments
• Monitor progress and document interventions in accordance with state and district policies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and adjustment of strategies as required to meet evolving student needs
• Stay current with best practices and trends in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
