Step into a pivotal role supporting K-12 students as a part-time occupational therapist providing essential testing services. This contract-based opportunity is located onsite near Lynn, MA, and is well-suited for clinicians looking for a flexible position that adapts to changing needs. This position is testing-focused, on an as-needed basis, and weekly hours will vary based on caseload demand.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License required
- Experience providing OT services in schools or educational settings
- Background in OT-home health, OT-healthcare, and/or OT-teletherapy preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation tools and procedures for K-12 students
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage variable weekly schedules
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for students in grades K-12, focusing on testing only
- Document and interpret assessment results in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student needs and communicate assessment findings
- Participate in meetings and provide recommendations for students as required
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in all aspects of service delivery
