Make an impact supporting local students by providing specialized occupational therapy assessments in a flexible, contract-based role. Youll work onsite in a dynamic school environment near Lynn, MA, partnering with learners from kindergarten through high school. As this is a testing-only position, your primary focus will be conducting thorough evaluations to inform student support plans, with hours varying weekly based on district needs.
Youll thrive in this role if you bring experience across school-based OT, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings, and are adept at delivering accurate, insightful assessments independently. Embrace the opportunity to collaborate with a broader educational team, but work autonomously as you plan and manage a variable caseload.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts OT license (required)
- Experience with school, home health, or teletherapy occupational therapy practice
- Strong knowledge of K-12 assessment protocols and reporting
- Ability to work independently and flexibly with varying weekly hours
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and colleagues
Responsibilities:
- Travel onsite for scheduled testing days as determined by student need
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments for K-12 students
- Provide comprehensive and timely evaluation reports
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families regarding student strengths and recommended supports
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation
