This full-time position is ideal for dedicated Occupational Therapists passionate about supporting students from early intervention through K-12 settings. The assignment runs from August 10th, 2026, to June 17th, 2027, offering you a consistent schedule within a supportive educational environment.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including one early intervention (11-month position) and one traditional K-12 role. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of best practices for early intervention and K-12 student populations
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with educators, staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in IEPs or IFSPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to foster student success
- Offer training and support to school staff and families regarding OT interventions and strategies
