Job Description

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide Occupational Therapy services within an elementary school setting located in Lusby, MD. The role focuses on supporting young students developmental and functional needs to enhance their educational experience and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to elementary-aged students
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches accordingly
Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success initiatives

Qualifications:

Valid Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings or with elementary-aged children is strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain thorough documentation
Commitment to supporting the academic and functional needs of students

Location and Schedule:

Elementary school based in Lusby, Maryland
Full-time hours approximately 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Contract duration from ASAP through June 9
