Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with school-age children, preferably in a school-based environment
  • Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a flexible, team-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students with diverse needs
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to implement therapy strategies within the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student accommodations
  • Monitor student progress, adjust plans as needed, and maintain up-to-date records and reports
  • Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups, focusing on fine motor, sensory, and functional skills necessary for academic participation
