Key qualifications and experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Previous professional experience in a school-based setting
• Comfortable working with K-12 populations, adapting interventions for different age groups
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all students

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students functional needs
• Creating personalized, evidence-based interventions to improve students participation in daily school activities
• Writing clear reports and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Educating staff and parents about strategies and accommodations to support students
• Providing both direct and consultative services as needed
