Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist working within a welcoming K-12 school community for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to support student development and contribute to a positive and inclusive educational environment. Serving a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students, you'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and school staff to help children achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to manage and organize caseloads efficiently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for students of all abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to each student's needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights regarding student progress and goals
  • Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student growth and successful classroom participation
