Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Some experience in school-based therapy, such as fieldwork or internships
  • Familiarity with educational terminology, standardized assessments, and the Special Education process
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services across itinerant assignments in K-12 settings
  • Travel between assigned campuses (assignments vary)
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams following state and district guidelines and CDE protocols
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational standards
