Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid OT licensure in California
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families
• Knowledge of IEP process and ability to document goals, progress, and outcomes
• Organizational skills and adaptability to work with various caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students motor skills and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design appropriate supports
• Implement therapy sessions individually or in small groups, addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of educational plans
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress notes
• Provide training and resources for teachers and families to carry out recommended strategies
